Research

From an interdisciplinary perspective, my research focuses on the intersection of science, art, sustainability, and education. This line of work stems from an interest in exploring the potential of glass not only as an artistic material, but also as a vehicle for educational and social transformation in the context of contemporary challenges.

EPROVI Project (2026–2029)

I participate as a researcher in the EPROVI project (2026–2029): Study of production technology for the correct conservation of glasses from the Royal Glass Factory of La Granja (18th–19th centuries), led by the Institute of Ceramics and Glass of the Spanish National Research Council (ICV-CSIC) and directed by the principal investigator Teresa Palomar Sanz.

The project aims to advance scientific and technological knowledge of historical glass produced at the Royal Glass Factory of La Granja, in order to improve preventive conservation strategies and to contribute to the valorisation of this cultural heritage of outstanding historical and technical significance.

My contribution focuses specifically on the preparation of analytical reference materials, the analysis of selected historical glass objects, and the production of replica glasses, which are key tasks for the technological characterisation of materials and for the study of historical glassmaking processes.

Participation in this project allows me to work within an interdisciplinary research framework and to contribute to the dialogue between science, glass production and heritage conservation, in collaboration with leading institutions such as the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the Royal Glass Factory of La Granja.
